MOTOLOADER motorcycle loading systems can be mounted in any standard panel van, van or minibus with a maximum permissible total weight of 3.5 t and the corresponding dimensions. Especially Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter or VW Crafter are suitable vehicles.
A vehicle with headroom (“H2”) facilitates handling and also enables loading of motorcycles with higher attachments (high handlebars, windshield, etc.). A (box) trailer or a motorhome with rear doors can also be suitable for mounting the MOTOLOADER.
If you are already using a panel van or minibus for your daily work, then the MOTOLOADER offers a second use: The transport of your motorcycle. If you already have a transport vehicle for your motorcycle, the MOTOLOADER will perfect this use.
The MOTOLOADER can be taken out again in everyday working life and you can continue to use the vehicle as usual.
Mounting in the transporter
The following applies to all mounting variants: The mounting is only used to fix the MOTOLOADER in the vehicle to prevent it from slipping during the loading process. For the transport itself, the motorcycle and the MOTOLOADER are then securely and stably lashed directly to the vehicle (e.g. to lashing eyes) using several tension belts!
1. Vehicles without wooden floor plate in the load compartment
Screw the attachment points for the MOTOLOADER directly to the “bare” vehicle floor. This is done at suitable points using sheet metal and/or threaded screws. Then fix the MOTOLOADER to the fastening points with threaded screws. Simply remove the loading system when not in use – the fastening points remain in the vehicle.
2. Vehicles with wooden floor plate in the cargo area
2a. Wooden floor plate is not yet installed in the vehicle
First connect the attachment points for the MOTOLOADER system to the wooden base plate at suitable points using threaded screws. If necessary, additional lashing points can be installed immediately. Then the plate is installed in the vehicle together with the mounted attachment points. Finally you fix the MOTOLOADER comfortably with threaded screws at the fastening points. You can easily remove the motorcycle charging system at any time when not in use – the fastening points remain in the vehicle.
2b. Wooden floor plate is already installed in the vehicle
In this case, screw the attachment points for the MOTOLOADER system to the wooden floor plate or through it at suitable points directly to the vehicle floor. This is done by means of wood and/or threaded screws and, if necessary, by additional gluing. Then fix the MOTOLOADER comfortably with threaded screws at the fastening points. When not in use, simply remove your motorcycle loading system again – the fastening points remain in the vehicle.
